Ever since I've upgraded to win7 I havent been able to get the OEM touchpad driver to install.

I've attempted to install the driver from the alienware website and the file direct from Synaptics.

Anybody else run into this issue?

I didn't necessarily have trouble getting the touchpad to install, but I didn't check to see if the touchpad worked properly. Perhaps this is yet another issue that isn't fully compatible with Windows 7. I'll have to add it to my other thread.

I see. I must have missed the V1 in his title. I frequently respond from a smartphone.

Even Synaptics website doesn't have a generic touchpad driver for Windows 7 yet.
