    Hello everyone,

My M5550 does something really strange with the volume dial. When I turn the dial to increase the volume, it seems to step through volume levels. I can't seem to fade it on or off--really strange.

Has anyone encountered this situation with an m5550?

    Thanks.

    I assume you're using headphones?
I get this all the time, as far as I know, there's nothing you can do about it, other than set it to the right sort of volume, and tweak with in-application controls.

Nightrider. This is another one of the issues with the M5550. The volume on it doesn't fade, it just skips multiple steps to give the illusion that its fading. I have the problem because I want a volume level in between 2 levels, so I have to use the wheel and the laptops Fn + F5/F6 to get it to a good sound. The other problem that I have with the wheel is that if your in between 2 levels it will get loud and soft quickly.
