    Recently go7600 in my m5550 went bust. so is there any chance getting a new one or get a newer model??? BTW I am in UK

    no, i think 7600 is the highest you can go. if you're still within the warranty, get a new one from AW. if not, go to http://www.mxm-upgrade.com/index.html and order a new go7600 from there.

    EDIT: actually, i'd contact the guy who runs mxm-upgrade and ask. some of the infos on the site implies you might be able to install an 8600m. not sure tho, so contact the site admin there.

    Hay whizzo I think I heard the same thing. But I heard it ran hot and best to get a larger Power supply and a good laptop Cooler.
