    Hello everyone,

Does anyone here know if the graphics card on an m5550 is replaceable with a similar card?

I have a m5550 with, what I think is a gradualy, failing graphics card(Nvidia GeForce 7600 256MB). When I boot the computer, the display presents intermittent, black, vertical lines. Ubuntu is able to work around this for some reason but Windows is not. It's possible that it's a driver isssue but it has never had graphics problems.

What would things look like if the LCD was having problems? How can I diferentiate between a graphics card problem or a screen problem?

    Thanks.
