Hey, i just went and talked to the chat support about taking away the m5790. I asked if it would be replaced with a new system...and the representative told me to look at a link of the m9750....so he infered that it would be replaced with the 9750 within 2-3 weeks, also, i tried to squeeze out some info on if the m9750 would come with santa rosa(i know the tech specs on the info page say it doesnt) but the representative wouldn't deny it, so im hoping.

Alienware seems to have discontinued the m5790 indeed. I am thinking that since Alienware was bought by Dell, they are going to be able to get the latest technology sooner. Santa Rosa's release is only about two and a half weeks away.

I talked to a representative on chat, and the phone, both saying there was no replacement on the way at an equivalent price... booo They told me instead to look at the m9750, which is quite a bit more... too bad

Does the m9750 come with a HD DVD burner?
