    m7700 and core2duo?????

    hey all, I was just wondering if with the latest and greatist BIOS (1.00.12) will this laptop now supprot core2duo processors?????

    no it will not.
    The m7700 (D900T)
    will only support single core processors up to 3.8Ghz.
    I believe the 3.8Ghz is a 670 cpu.

    The system will only work with pentium 4's, thats why they werent as much of a hit as the D900K, which had the option for dual cores.

    the D900T has a Intel 915 chipset.... which does NOT support anything higher than a Pentium 4 (LGA775)... single cores, of course.
