So, about a tablespoon of coffee got spilled into my m9700 keyboardwhile on loan to a friend. . .
Some of the keys now no longer work at various points on the keyboard.
The system works fine with a USB keyboard, so I would like to replace the laptop keyboard.
Unfortunately, Alienware no longer carries the part and I cannot find it at any third party websites.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Set up an ebay watch for "m9700 keyboard." One will likely show up there given the number of other spare parts available. Otherwise, you could look at buying an m7700 keyboard and trying it out. At first glance it looks to be the same. Anyone?
Also you could contact Cyberinfinity an ebay power seller that has many AW parts to see if they can find one for you. -
Sounds like an idea.
I pulled they keyboard out to try and "clean" it, but it is shot.
I did get the model number which is MP-03753US-839, and from my google it appears the m9700 and m9750 use the same part number.
It is bizzare that you can get so many older system keyboards, but not these :/
