Can anyone help me with removing or point me to instructions on how to remove the motherboard from my M9700. My power connector has failed completely and I am hoping that I may be able to replace the connector and get it to work. Thanks in advance for any help. I am reading through the many great posts on this forum looking for help...

I have been messing with this m9700 for a good part of the day. I did finally get the motherboard out and inspected the connector. There does not appear to be a broken solder joint so I purchased a new fitting off of ebay and I will solder in the new connector and reassemble and cross my fingers and hope it works. At this point I don't think I will put any more money into this laptop. Since I bought it off ebay about a year ago I have replaced the herd drive, the LCD, the battery, the AC adapter and now the problem with the motherboard...this is the end for me. Any advice on the repair and reassembly? I definately would like some advice from anyone that has been down this path before as I am in pretty deep here! Thanks.
