    All,

My m9750 arrives tomorrow and I would love to assume that as it was built on Monday it will have all of the latest drivers listed in the sticky on this forum.

Am I being naive to assume that Video, Soundcard, Mousepad etc Drivers will all be latest or have I got to go straight into a series of downloads and upgrades?

Shame if I have to and I am loathe to start messing with it immediately.

    Any views?

    Thanks,

    Clean.

    ;)

*ps* Practically a gibbering wreck awaiting that big black box!

One thing is for sure, you'll have to update your video drivers. The only official alienware drivers are old and teh sux.

    How's it going Clean,
I can honestly say that you need to grab the 174.16 video driver and Realtek HD sound driver from eightD's post right off the bat. Games will not perform well, and the sound will skip if you try to multi-task (assuming you listen to music and watch videos while you browse the internet). Also, don't worry about the driver cleaner program, as installing over the offical Alienware video driver won't hurt.
If you're going to try Crysis or UT3, send me a private message for some tips on install.

    Hope this helps,
    Gabe
