This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    yeah i understand it doesn't see the memory above 2.5gb, but i went ahead and just ordered 2 2gb modules so i have the same paired ram.

    yanni, i ordered the geil 4gb (2x2gb) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Notebook Memory - Retail, the part number is N82E16820144066 (from newegg), it was like $114.99 and comes with a $30 mir, so it'll be $84.99 after the mir.
