Hi was wondering what other m9750 users are getting in the temperature range when using Orthos. Mine are around 79C max with standard clocks and thats with undervolting, when I overclocked my 2.00GHZ to 2.2GHZ they went up to mid 80s  .

I have removed the heat sink a fair few times now, maybe new thermal paste is needed?

What are the average temps M9750 users are getting?

Just ran Orthos - StressCPU for 28minutes:
    Max: 78C
Min: 61C (doesnt really matter, anyway)
Avg: It setled at 75C after 15mins of running
GPU remained at 73-74C (master) 63-64C (slave)

Can't remember if my speccs are in the signature so here goes.
M9750: CPU: 2.0GHZ, 2x8700M GT, thats the only relevant stuff I think

Been 2 months since the last time I cleaned the fans and applied some new thermal paste, in regards to your question, I have no suggestions, don't feel I have enough knowledge to answer it ;)

Anyway, lets see some more temperature readings
    Cheers

Thanks for the quick response, i have the same specs and the very simirlar temps so I guess so far so good. Seems overclocking thhis CPU produces a LOT of heat, maybe its best to only run OC'd with a cooling pad.

you dont have to keep reappling thermal paster every month ...

it reaches peak performance after 100-200 hours burn in ...
