My m9759 decided to lose video on the LCD. I plugged it into my external LCD and was able to boot. The resolution and color are terrible (4 bit) and it only shows 1 display (not the laptop lcd) i thought at first it was just the connector cable for the lcd and replaced it but that has not fixed the issue.

Is this a problem with my 7950GTX?

Any help with this issue would be awesome! The lcd still gets power and "lights up" but never shows anything.

Also as a note... the external LCD has green lines running vertically through it when plugged into the laptop. This does not happen when using it on my desktop.

Yep, that sounds bad. I guess you could always try this.

Well its always worth a shot since I can't afford to replace it with a card of equal specs.

    Not really much to lose.
