I just wiped my computer clean and did a fresh install of Windows 7 64-bit on my m9750 and now I cannot get my hotkeys or my media card reader to work. I checked Alienware's website to see if they had any Windows 7 drivers and had no luck. I downloaded the media card drivers for Vista and they do not work in Windows 7. I also read about a BIOS update but couldn't seem to find that on Alienware's site either. Perhaps I'm not searching correctly.

Has anyone done this to their m9750 and gotten it to work? If I can't get some sort of response over the next couple days I'll try my luck with Tech Support but they've been 1 step away from useless since Dell took over and did away with the Roswell Crew...

    Thanks in advance.

    Greetings!

I also have the M9750, recently upgraded to Win7, and discovered tonight, my memory card reader didn't work anymore.

After an hour of searching driver sites and forums, I discovered we need the Ricoh R5C833 media reader driver.

This is the site where I found the driver. It was an easy install and now my memory card reader works just fine!

I also have two devices that wont install (not sure what they are) and I cant get the my usb 2.0 ports to work as 2.0. I think it is something with the chipset drivers but not sure.

I have same configuration as above, windows ultimate 7 64 bit, m9750.

Can we attach a snip of the device manager to show the devices not installed?
