hey guys, has anyone tested out the dvd drive for the m9750? i watched a dvd or two on the weekend with it..... first dvd worked ok, but i noticed that when i paused it, and the resumed it, on resume it studdered and skipped a minute before smoothly resuming, and then the 2nd dvd i watched toward the end of the movie it just started skipping and studdering all of the sudden for no reason, so we had to watch the rest of the movie on my girlfriends macbook, and it ran perfectly... so before i take this up with alienware, i was wondering if anyone else has had this happen, what it could be or how to fix it?

the dvd had no scratches and i was using the installed powerdvd software already installed on the laptop

    thanks guys...

I have experienced no problems with DVD play using PowerDVD on my 9750. Might try using another DVD app to see if it's the software or maybe a driver problem.
