    m9750 graphics upgrade , which card should i get ?

    Ok so my 8700m gt's are crap and i need new cards / card . I am looking for recommendations about what to replace them with, i have been considering the Radeon Mobility HD 3870 but that is only because i know they will work. are there any other options for me ?

    the M9750 uses MXM III 2.1 , so will any MXM III 2.1 card work ?

    suggestions please.

    The 3870 is great, I hear you can get 10K with it.

    You might want a 4850, but the price is high. You might want to get one from an alienware user.

    9600, 9800 should also work.

    Might want to warn you. you need to check to see if can support differnt cards. On the m17x frist gen. I had to switch Motherboards to get the dual geforce 9800 to work. Due to increase in power requirements of the 8800gtx and 9800gt.

    Fot the moment the only proven cards to work on the m9750 are:

    8700m GT (Single or Sli) - official
    7950 GTX (single or SLI) - official
    Ati 3870 (single or SLI) - with Vista Bios - non official

    other than that, it is not for sure
    - 8800m GTX => tested on this forum, but did not go up to full potential
