I would like to use my m9750 (with tv tuner) as a monitor for my xbox 360... what are my options for connecting this device to my screen?
I know I can convert composite to s-video through the built in tuner, however I would like to know if it's possible to input a signal using the VGA or DVI ports? My concern being that I have no way of actually displaying any signal on screen...
It would be nice to drag my huge tv off to college with me in less than two weeks but I doubt that's a possibility so playing on my alienware is my only option at the moment. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Your VGA and DVI ports are output only.
S-Video through the TV Tuner is your only option and it's laggy at best. Your best option would be to purchase a small LCD screen to play your xbox on. A 10"-20" screen with more than one port (DVI, VGA, Component in, etc) is your best bet.
I use my Dell monitor to not only display my home desktop, but to play my Xbox 360 as well. -
I have an old 15" dell monitor I may be able to make use of. If I find a cheap s-video adapter I will try the laptop also. Thanks for the help and quick response.

Here's a thread that talks about some of the features and limitations of the m9750.
