I am using everest ultimate, and here are the temperatures
Temperature of the "st91608220as" is 32
Temperature of the gpu is 52
    Temperature of the cpu#1/Core #2 is 43
Temperature of the cpu #1 / core #1 is 43
Temperature pf the cpu is 45
I don't know if these are celcius or Fahrenheit so please tell me if they are which, and if they are too hot

    o, voltage is 1.4

after doing things like "cpu queen" and other everest benchmarks, the temps of everything went up by 5. Is that to be expected?

    All temps are in Celcius.

Those temps seem pretty normal. My Dell and my AW both idle at about the same or higher.

I only have one graphics card though... Actually, I might stick with one if

    1. The heat is lower.
    2. Sli's performance is no more than 20-25 % better
    3. Laptop will last longer with 1 gpu

    Is this mostly true?

My 9750 Gpu and Cpu both idled and were higher then yours. i would say pull the trigger and grab the extra gpu cause the heat on your lappy is not your enemy. im in michigan as well auburn hills and right now my laptop and desktop are running much cooler then the summer i would say youll be fine even come summer unless you never run the AC when it becomes hot.

what is the actual gain in performance of 1 - 2 7950gtx's?

    http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-Go-7950-GTX-SLI.6936.0.html
says because of the heat creation, sli is used only in 19" notebooks
even if that is a couple years old, I would assume the laptop would be a lot hotter with 2 gpu's?

What is the chance of there being a better graphics card coming out that I can use on this instead of 2 7950's? How likely is it there will be a different 8800? If I do buy a new one when it comes out, where could I get it installed?

ok guys i have a question too....this just happened recently. I have my m9750 for like 3-4 months now and it used to run real smooth. i am using nvidia monitor to keep an eye on the temps of my gpu. Before when i used to stress the gpu, the temps rose to a max of 73-75 degrees Celcius but now somehow the temperatures rise between 80-85 degrees when im playing. And one more thing, has anyone played Company Of Heroes?? If you have then what settings can you run it smoothly on, because i cant manage to run it on all high which i thought this laptop would be able to handle in CoH. Thanks

i would unscrew the bottom of the laptop and see if some dust has built up and blast it with some compressed air on the fans.
