    m9750 touchpad stopped working

    Hi all, wonder if you have any idea what I can do about this. My touchpad and touchpad buttons have stopped working. I have the m9750 and windows xp. my mouse still works fine but not the touchpad. Any ideas?

    Lol yeah, what whizzo said. But if that doesn't work then I would recommend checking if the touchpad is even being detected. If not there might be a bigger problem to worry about. Good Luck!

    did this suddenly happen? run a quick virus check and if its not even being detected a cable may have come loose

    I recall that happening to my m9750 about 7 months ago...I think what ended up fixing it was unplugging it, removing the battery, and removing the CMOS battery as well...I left the CMOS battery out while I went and made supper, then put it all back together and it worked fine after that...been fine ever since.
