I had a system lock-up problem for a while and after many reformats have mostly made that problem go away in windows 7. Now it still happens but very infrequently, the new problem is some of my games clients will crash. WoW almost never does this, neither does MW2 multiplayer or Torchlight, but SF4 will crash in about 1 minute and MW2 Single player has also been extremely unstable.

I guessed I needed to update my video drivers since I'm still using the 186.81 win 7 package dated from back in August. The funny thing is whenever I apply a newer forceware it's a huge failure. The drivers cause an error according to device manager and if I reboot I am treated to a blue screen of death. My only option each time is to roll back the driver. I am certain I am installing the correct drivers but I have no idea what the problem is.
