    Thats the first i have heard of them offering that but if you could find out who contracts dells work locally you might be able to bribe them to come for $$.

    Qx9300 or if you want Dual core X9100 . Me i wont run Dual cores but some prefer them .

    You can do it yourself bro. Just be sure to take your time, have a large work area and review all service docs before proceeding.

    Grab the Service Manual and refer to page: 74

    Once you remove the heat sink, you will see your CPU.

    You will also need to select a thermal goop to apply. There are several available with most people going with Arctic Silver. Just do a Google Search on "Thermal Compound" and "Applying Thermal Compound".

    Ultimately, if you feel nervous about any of it or don't fully understand what it is you are doing - have someone else do it.

    The Dell/AW tech didn't even suggest it and told him is was not over-clockable?!?!...scary
