For some reason my m17x wont detect my dual geforce gtx280m graphics card anymore. I went to device manager and checked and its not there. I tried reinstalling the graphic drivers but still didnt work. I also tried doing a system restore that did not work either. I have never had a problem before on any pc i had in the past I spent 4k on this piece of junk and all its giving me is problems. Can anyone help?

Does it show up in the Bios? If not reinstall the defaults.

Go to the BIOS -> graphics settings -> make sure that both integrated and hybrid are enabled.

It should if you have 260/280s.
Also if you don't want it, just keep both settings disabled in the BIOS.

yea didnt work it still does not show up in device manager I'm usually pretty good at figuring out problems like this but this has me stumped I've been trying to figure this out for like the past 5 days now maybe its messed up and needs to be replaced. For my first time buying an m17x I am extremely disappointed.

Perhaps you should do a power drain.

Hey Man... guess what.. i was having the same problems as you and this is how i fixed it!

    1. Go to the BIOS > Graphic card menu and make sure both Hybrid and Integrated are enabled.

    2. Boot your computer and as soon the alienhead logo appears start hitting the F8 key.. u should see a bar filling up on the lower right corner at the screen.. keep hitting it till u get to a boot up menu screen.

    3. Select to boot up in Fail safe mode.

    4. In windows go to, Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, Select "NVIDIA Drivers" and uninstall it!

    5. Boot the computer normaly after the whole uninstall process and once in windows check for results! (I went straight to my Device Manager and there they were again... both my NVIDIA GeForce GTX260M were showing again)

    6. Install the NVIDIA driver from the M17x Resource DVD.

    I hope this helps man!
