so I just did a factory restore and I'm having trouble installing my new video driver. I'm trying to install 186.82 but everytime I try to install it at the end it says no modification have been done to my system try again later.
What I have tried so far
CP Uninstall old driver
reboot into safe mode
Registry Mechanic
Reboot
Install New driver in normal mode & safe mode.
I'm getting my driver from laptopvideo2go and modifying the .inf with DH Mobility Modder for my bluray drive.
Any Ideas this is driving me nuts.
Thanks

DeadLy,
This is the latest driver that I've been able to get to work correctly with my Area-51 m15x:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook_winvista_win7_x64_186.81_whql.html
All of those later either will not install, generate Error 43 or blue screen. -
i saw another post you made with those drivers but I'm on vista 32

No problem...
For Vista32 use this set instead:

I tried that driver from laptopvideo2go, will it make a difference if I use the one direct from nvidia? Thanks for the link I'll give it a try when I get home

I'm not a fan of the LaptopVideo2Go drivers... I can never get them to work properly. The one directly from nVidia is WHQL certified. I used it before I switched to 64-bit and had zero issues.
It installs normally, no monkeying with INFs, etc... It just works. -
okay hope your right this has been driving me nuts, I'll give it try when I get home
and thanks for your help -
