    newer m15x processors downclocking

    was just wondering whether the newer m15x's processor x9000 still has an overheating problem and downclocks

    the X9000 is the worst on the list of CPUs for downclocking.

    You have above 90% of chances it will downclock. Even though AW is aware of this problem for over 2 months now, absolutely nothing as been done on their behalf to address this issue.

    So... if you can't stay away from the M15x, definately stay away from the X9000.

    if you wanna risk to void the warranty you can replace the paste of the cpu and then you got no more dc.
    the trick is to use very very little paste.

    yeah I would stay away from the x9000 if you really want a m15x. I know someone that has had theirs for like 2 weeks and they have bad downclocking.
