Can confirm this for Germany, Austria and Switzerland aswell. I wonder what is going on, and if it has something to do with the latest Bios A08 Update. Something weird is going on for sure.

Someone mentioned this late last week. I think there is some speculation that it's due to a shortage of the Intel 940XM processors. This may also be reason for the lack of the 940XM option in the United States too (for the M17x).

lack of 940xm for m17x in US is because we get all the website updates last but we also get the good prices. The 940xm disappearing is probably due to shortage but if it is gone for good no issues pick up the chip for half price on ebay and you are set. Dell is doing you a favor and helping you save some $$$ and use throttlestop with the XM processor to counteract the bios they released which cripples the XM processors.

The 940XM has just reappeared as an option for both the M15x and M17x. I'm currently tinkering with a M15x configuration that I maybe might possibly finally commit to getting and switched from to list view and it had appeared as an option. Double checked and it's totally back.
