    no sound on the hdmi out?

    I just pluged my m15 x upto my big screen with an hdmi cord and get no sound

    you need to enable it in the realtek audio manager thingy.

    Control Panel - Sound
    Click on the Digital Output Device, click the Set Default button, then Okay.

    Make sure that your external display is also set to sense an HDMI connection if it needs to be set that way.

    When you're done, you need to reset the Sound options back to your PC Speakers - just set the default back to them.

    It doesn't make any difference if the DOD is listed as SPDIF or HDMI - that's what you need to set for audio output over HDMI.

    If tried this and it still doesnt work. I only have "speakers", and "digital output" when i go to set my default sound. It doesnt work when i set the default to "digital output"..
