hey guys, sorry to put you through this old problem again, but i cant seem to find any decent threads or work around it myself.

ive just sat down to watch the arsenal pre season game, which we won 10-2 btw hehe, and connected my m15x up via the hdmi port to my tv, but couldnt get any sound to go down it. i recently reformatted my laptop , id built up a lot of junk on it so just used the AW software to get it back to the way it was the day i recieved it, which worked very well btw. but ive got this problem again. ive been through the realtek sound manager and switched it to the digital out, which should be the hdmi cable, but still nothing, even after a reboot. i just downloaded a new driver off the realtek website, but, still nothing. dont know if im being stupid and not doing something simple, i hope not, but i just cant seem to get it working.

please help, ive got some films i want to watch upstairs through the laptop in bed, but dont want to have to listen to them through the crappy speakers on the laptop(my one big dissapointment with this thing)

You'll have to select digital output in your sound manger to enable sound through HDMI.
