Steath mode downclocks your gpu to save power. So don't play games when on it. Lol

as name mentioned in post#3, Stealth Mode kicks you into a sub 65w power mode. Your CPU and GPUs are scaled back. There is no reason to do this while gaming.

Its completly normal. Just don't use it while gaming, it downclocks your gpu and cpu. Only use it for surfing internet to save power.

The stealth mode button has a similar effect as pressing the 'w' key. I assume it has some hacky key code to make it work.

Also, your WoW character wont be invisible when your laptop goes into stealth mode

Extra function buttons are usually emulating various key combinations.

You're character moves forward because the "W" is [unintentionally] pressed. It has nothing to do with the lower performance that the Stealth Mode enforces.
You might notice that when you turn down the volume the "C" key is pressed.

Edit: If you want to play in stealth mode either start it before the game, or return to Desktop and engage the Mode.

    Edit 2:
Are you certain that the notebook automatically goes to Stealth Mode when unplugged? It is true that most thing slow down, but in my opinion these are just default setting from the different components that try to save energy. I'm asking because when I'm on battery if I engage the stealth mode the screen dims and the fans slow down.

It's not full stealth mode it just down clocks to save power but it's just about there
