    Hello,

    i'm using dual view and just want to watch movies over the tv screen. But i don't know how to switch off the tft of the laptop without killing the signal to the tv ??

    HELP

    Close the lid?

    Go to power settings -> choose what closing the lid does (on vista; there should be a similar option on XP) and select "Do nothing".

    Then close the lid and the second display should still be on.

    hmm it shut downs than ? so i must turn off to take any action when i close it?
