ok AW...
we know we pay a premium for AW as it is.
but why in the current realm of updated hardware are you still charging the premium?
it would seem, that in order to attract buyers who may not need nor desire top-of-the-line or the latest and greatest, you would alter the prices a bit to encourage sales before a product refresh...
can AW-James or AW-Armando post with information they have regarding this?
(this could be futile anyway, but AW CS will not offer any information regarding updated m15x hardware or why the prices have not subsided a bit)

its the brand. its an Alienware. theres always going to be a preminum. like shirts. why would you just not buy a cotton shirt with out a brand on it. its the same material but its way cheaper than the branded one.

I agree. I myself will be buying an AW despite the £200-£400 above average price purely because its an Alienware system. Like as Exiled said, its the same as buying Nike shoes compared to cheaper less known shoes. Same shoe, different name.

yeah, i know...i was just seeing if the AW reps could chime in, and maybe offer insite aside from the obvious that it is AW...lol (maybe offer hints as to when new stuff will come out.... hint hint...)
like i said, prob futile, but you never know unless you ask.... -
i dont think they will risk their job to tell you some new information.
premium pricing still....
