    i am deciding on getting a quad core for my m17, but first i want to no if there is a guide/ tut on copper modding the northbridge. and is it effective?

    put CPU in apply paste

    put copper shim on top of CPU

    apply paste on the copper shim

    put on heat sink

    Yes there is but for a different system. Search m1330 copper mod. But place it on the northbridge.

    I have directions but my fingers will cramp on this phone if I type to much.

    Yup. One note. Just place the copper on the northbridge. Not the cpu.....
