    wondering if anyone had problems or do i need to change settings. (still on hold at dell)

    I am getting signals from my router and neighbors but will not connect. Talked to bell south tech support for 2 hours and still can not figure it out. New wireless router from bellsouth yesterday

    other computers connect through wire but not tried wireless

    AFAIK it should work out of the box. You can always download the latest wireless driver from Dell.com.
    Could try connecting to your neighbours' router to see if it works :p

    neighbors are password protected. i even turned encription off on my modem and still will not connect. Dell guy is a moran and wants to do a restore. about to call back for a difer person

    This happened on someone's laptop the other day. I could see wireless signals being broadcast, but couldn't connect. All I did was reinstall the driver.

    ok problem solved. In device manager under network adaptors one of the tabs in that section had something about saving power, Did a few things in there restarted and working fine now. i do not remember all the steps but some how it started working.
