    raid0 for m15x?

    According to this, pm55 does support raid, maybe I can take dvdrom apart and put a HardDrive instead? Just assume there is enough space for the harddrive, is raid0 possibble for m15x? :confused:

    RAID isn't an option in the BIOS because the system was only designed for one hard drive. Even if you could get a second identical hard drive in there then you still couldn't enable it.

    but how come some other laptops with pm55 are able to use raid? They have special designed pm55?

    Because they can fit two hard drives, that simple. It's a BIOS option, but there is no option in the M15x because it's only intended for one hard drive...

    still...is there a way to edit BIOS in order to enable raid?

    Instead of going through all that trouble just looking for HDD increase of performance...get your self a SSD that should fix your raid 0 problems! Or M17x!
