This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    refund problems

    I returned my laptop... they received it on the 22nd (that's what I got from DHL site) - AW tells me they received it on the 24 - now I beleive what's I see on the web site.... anyway it's been 5 - 8 working days and I still do not have the money.... so I called them and was told that they are still waiting for some credit check - they explained it to me (what it was) and basically it's only to check if I returned everything..... so I was like WTH 5 - 8 working days and no one checked it??? the lady I spoke to didn't know much - she told me she was on training but anyway any one else expirienced problems like that??? is there anything that can be done to speed this up?? I really need that money and it would really help if they would at least confirm that everything is ok......

    well everytime I speak to someone I get a different answer - when I called last week I was told it takes 5 business days now you're telling me that it takes 7 - 10 business days.....
    so when will I know that everything was checked etc and that I will (100%) get the refund?
