    removing an alienware 17/18 keyboard?

    Hey guys, I'd like to remove the keyboard on my alienware 17 to clean out under the keys.
    I've never done it before so I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me whether I just stick a knife under a key and force it out or how I'm meant to do it.

    P.S: someone said that sandpapering the bottom of the keys allows for more light from the LEDs to go through. Is this true? And is it recommended?
