Using up more space on the interwebs!

atleast give some more detail rather than just 1 line, surely you expect people to want to know more...

i complained to 8 different rep,2 supervisors today and told them i wanted the 280m sli instead of 260m sli.I went to talk to the supervisor and told them that this custoemr service is unacceptable that they should compensate me for the time i spend on fixing this small issue. The lady gave me 10% discount :D

i got really happy i thanked her 5 times.
and told her i appreciate what she had done for me.
i was pretty pissed off at the customer service reps.
7% epp+ 3% extra for pain and suffering and a $30 discount dell gift card for my trouble. i saved a little over $300 with free shipping $278 + 29.00= $307.00

my total hours spend on the phone with dell 1 hour and 45 minutes.....today
LOL i am a happy camper now.

by the way did i mention she also gave me free shipping.
LOL damn i love dell now and i had to kiss talking to the lady supervisor in the end. i went through 2 supervisors. God was it worth it at the end, they canceled my original order and replaced with the new kick near max out order with the sli 280m for alot cheaper because of the discounts LOL.
I have my epp representative extension number :p

I think that I got the biggest discount out of everyone.
What did I do? A Secret.
What did I get? I used Sleey0's Epp site with the 7% automatically applied. Then on top of that, the Dell Rep , Maryanne, added another 7% discount. She also threw in free shipping and cut off $80.00 USD from the total price.
In the end, I got my system for $2,400 USD Flat; That number includes tax and everything.
Seriously, if you think about it, with all that discount, I practically did not pay tax or shipping.

Seen in the good way, I paid $ 2167.00 USD if I did not include tax or shipping.

My Specs are in my Sig:

    M17x | Black | Q9000 | Dual Sli GTX 280M | 1920x1200

Retail $2,800 USD (Does not include Tax/Shipping)
    The deal I got?
    $ 2167.00 USD

    I saved $665.00 USD

Warcraft, what are your final specs now?

Edit: Ok, I just read lemonspeaker's post, I must be doing something wrong. My rep is not budging at all, and "acting" like he is giving me so much already.

Yeah.... an extra 7%, $80, and free shipping on top of sleey0's e-value (which also has 7%)!?

I mean the $80 and free shipping is feasible... but 7%....

AHHHH!!!! Okay, so I place my order *yesterday*, take a day off to go relax for a bit, come back and see about three threads all dealing with prices and discounts and getting money back..... :(

So my question is here, as it has been in three other threads.. (sorry for those of you reading this more than once :) )- what the hell do I do to get *any* discount? The reps I've spoken too (all part of some 'Team Maverick') say that they can give me *NO* discounts on the M17x.... so I paid about the same price as you Warcraft for 260m's, 250 GB, and 1066 RAM.... :(

Okay, so how would I go about contacting an EPP rep? I don't particularly work for *anyone* right now, so would I still be eligible for it? It does stand for Employee Purchasing Something or Other, right?

That's the thing- right now I only am doing an internship in DC with the Smithsonian. Other than that I'm just a normal college student. Either way though, I'm calling right now and trying to get this cancelled. Then I can re-do it in a few days and hopefully get it for a bit cheaper.
