What is the best game to show-case the M17. I have 4gb Cruical Ram, dual 3870's and a P8400 CPU.
I have tried COD WAW, Crysis, Far Cry 2 and Wheelman.
Any other jaw dropping games out there?
-
haha, Wheelman is not a "show-case game"... at any rate, Mirror's Edge looks pretty sweet too.
-
They have "Legendary" showcased on one of their reviews for the M17.
I havent gotten to play it, but I ordered it along with a few other great games I have heard of.
TR Underworld, UT3, Assassins Creed, FarCry 2, and crap cant remember the other one. -
Are there any non FPS games that can throw out some heavy graphics?
-
driving games - GT4, BP, etc.
-
Dawn of War II seems to tax my system pretty good, and looks pretty decent when you get lots of units/explosions flying around, if you prefer RTS stuff.
-
Tom Clancy's HAWX looks pretty cool too, not too demanding though.
-
Assasin's Creed is beautiful.
-
AOE 3 i think it is one of the rts games is really demanding ..alot of it on ur cpu though
-
Left 4 dead looks amazing on the M17 and couldnt run any smoother maxed all the way out, plus its a fun game. Bioshock is also a really good looking shooter as well as a great game. That legendary game mentioned above, is supposed to be god awful, if you listen to reviews anyways
-
L4D isn't jaw dropping ....
-
bioshock FTW trust me
assassin creed is quite repetitive after few hours...
-
wanted weapons of fate looks nasty and a very cool and unique game.
-
i have been looking to get bioshock but my local game stop didn't have it and i got orange box instead....not bad
-
Definitely Bioshock, one of my favorites (I have the chains tattooed to my wrists), Dead Space looks pretty good, Fallout 3, and World in Conflict come to mind.

dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
dead space
crysis
farcry2 -
Cmon guys.......Super tux! lol
-
i agree the graphics themselves arent anything special, its just really cool to see 50 or so zombies on screen at once with zero lag, my desktop system runs L4D nicely and looks nice, but no where near as smooth as the M17
altho i guess not not many things are as smooth as the m17
-
thats exactly what i ment he wasn't asking for fun games he wanted "jaw dropping" games
-
^^exacto^^
-
although the new mass effect and bioshock will be killer when they hit
fallout3 looks good when you crank it up and fear 2 looks pretty good its no crysis though but still pretty nice at max -
yeah but you need some kind of super computer to run crysis maxed out...
from what i have read even the M17 cant do that, although i cant comment too much, mines still on Stage 2
Pete -
it will run it pretty good
-
I can get pretty good frames on UT3 if I turn the shadows down.
There are some .ini tweaks to get over 60 fps. I'm up in the 100's
All in All, UT3 and BioShock are great for jaw-dropping.
Assassins Creed does get repetitive but has some of the best graphix.
Another fav is Overlord, Black & White 2, Fallout 3 and Monster Madness.
EDIT: Can't forget Fable
-
its so stupid fable 2 doesn't have a freakin release date
-
Ya, I'm still waiting for that one to come out on PC.
-
I vote FC2 =)
-
I run Crysis maxed out except I have shadows set to only high. Very fluid gameplay.
