I can press the lock button in and it pops out... now no matter at what angle i pull, i cant seem to get the drive out of there ? the drive works fine though, i just need to know how to do this ...
any help ??

just pull the tab outward. the drive should come out. if that doesnt work flip the m15x onto the bottom and check if there is a screw that screwed the drive in preventing it from coming out. the screw is near an icon that has a lock on it on the bottom

i've noticed that screw hole thingy too... has anyone actually had a screw in there?

thanks ! all it needed was a little stronger pull !! no screw in there for me...
thanks again ! -
glad you finally got it out. i remembered when i first got my m15x. it took me around 45 min to figure out how to get the thing out since i refused to look it up at Alienware.com. i didnt even know there was a tab
