I have a t9600 and 4870's. For the most part i never experience problems, but occasionally in games, if there is a lot of smoke on screen the framerate slows to a crawl, im talking less than 10 fps. It has done it in MW2 and BFBC2, Borderlands as well as Just Cause 2, (these are the only games ive really played much since i got it). I have the A03 bios, and i have everything on defaults in the control panel.

I'm running the 10.3 drivers, haven't tried any others yet. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I have experienced this also, and just recently with mirrors edge and with phyxs off which I'm thinking was the culprit since I'm running nvidia gpus i have the option of turning it on or off but even when it is on oh my god its annoying when smoke hits the screen...frame drop :(.

I got them from the ATI website. With version 10.3 they now officially support their mobility GPU's. You dont have to mod the drivers anymore.
