I have a M9750 and am applying thermal paste. Should I apply paste to the North bridge?

Hi Caffeinated Box, please remember to properly clean the surfaces before applying. You will want to also replace the thermal pad on your northern bridge if you notice it is damaged and check ths heat sink for thermal paste.

If you are using Arctic Silver, you may want to follow this Guide: Applying Arctic Silver 5 to your M9750.

    Enjoy your day!

I guess that is a yes. haha. I know that Rob41 also has extensive experience with the m9750. I have a whitebook which is based off the arima w840di chassis, the next revision of your chassis, and for my model it is recommended that you perform a copper mod so help span the gap and allow for better transfer of heat from the NB chip to the heatsink. Something like that may yield you better results for your model as well. Hopefully someone with that same model can help you more.
