I posted a thread on alienware laptop upgrades. It talked about the best kind of ram and cost upgrades for alienware specifically. Whoever moved it to hardware specific areas, it doesnt go there. I was talking about alienware ram upgrades. Not generic. It is upsetting when asking alienware users questions and it just randomly gets moved. Thanks.

akami, I have sent screenshots of your offensive message to a moderator. You claim you were "at a lan party" and therefor did not send them. Next time you send a threating message to me, I will file a legal complaint.

Any member of this forum has the right to know what moderators do not take seriously, so any attempt to close this thread will be reported to the ic3.

If this forum does not take it seriously when 14 year olds get messages to "kill themselves" and have blocked swear words, this forum might as well be closed.

You're not old enough to file a legal complaint. You would have to have your legal guardian do so. Secondly, if you think that was a "threatening" message - you're quite ignorant. Thirdly - I was at a lan center and many of my friends were using my notebook and felt like surfing this forum. They came upon your moronic post and felt the need to respond to you. If you think that was a threatening message - You're pathetic.

I do not care, because if your computer poses a security risk, eg random people stealing it and posting threating messages, you should not be able to use the internet. The ic3 takes it seriously when people try to make teens kill themselves. I have now filed a complaint against this forum and several specific people. Most child predators get internet access taken away, and I have reported akami as a child predator.

The federal government takes it very seriously when potential child predators get away with posting threating emails, on a forum where they can take over and no help is offered.

Apologize? I am just expressing my first amendment rights. Governments and courts have found it difficult to define or distinguish prohibited obscene or indecent materials from those entitled to protection under First Amendment guarantees of freedom of expression. Most rules taken seriously are those dealing with the distribution of child pornography. The three-prong Miller test resulting from the Miller V. California case defines obscene material. In this case - it was an expression of speech - not the transmission of "Material" such as jpegs and or instructions on "how to" kill yourself. There was no PUBLIC transmission of material. Lastly, there is no jurisdiction or validity as I did not send that whisper. Good luck, I'm not wasting any more of my time.

Yeah, this thread doesn't belong in Alienware. Actually, this thread doesn't belong on NBR. If you guys want to argue with each other, send emails or meet on AIM somewhere.

Note to OP: All RAM is the same. There's no such thing as Alienware RAM, and thus the mods were doing you a favor, moving the thread to the Hardware section.

When I signed up to this forum, I never saw a part in the contract where people could tell teenagers to "kill themselves" and get away with it. I asked a moderator to help with the situation, providing evidence, and was told to let it go, because he denied it. I hope someone can help, and since no one here could, the ic3 was my only alternative.

 

akami, if the OP is just a kid, you're way out of line! This is not the way to talk to a youngster no matter what the issue, even if you're right, he's wrong, or if he were acting like a knucklehead (he's not, IMO). Please back off or report him if you think he's done or said something wrong.

 

The reason that I don't email him, is because he already tried to make me kill himself, if I have a live conversation with a child predator, only bad things can come of it. The ic3 will sort it out.

The thread was moved because it was not specific to Alienware notebooks. It could have applied to anyone looking to upgrade to 4GB of RAM. One of my main duties here is to optimize the flow of information, and I put it where it matters most.

Also, in the future, please keep private matters private. Please message me or another moderator if you have a problem with another member.
