    i saw yesterday that alienware reduced the price of the m17 , $799..and i thought wow.....and they did something eles, no longer can buy with titanium card....bummer...that is what i was going to use.....

    Reconfigure your system, I'll bet its the same price within $50. They lower the "starting price" but typically add the cost back in somewhere else.

    Don't feel bad CIT which manages the Titanium Card is about to go belly up anyway. AW/Dell maybe looking for another credit agency.

    If you have a major card I would suggest using that instead of dealing with a company like CIT and having your credit/payments being in limbo for a buyer.

    Didn't they stop selling the M17 all together now? I can't seem to find it on the AW website anymore!! Could just be me!!

    No you are NOT off the hook for paying. They know who you are and where to find you. Whoever buys the debt from CIT will continue to collect from you. However because its a new company some small print things MAY change and you may have issues with it.

    SO its just a good heads up to be aware of what will happen and how it may affect you.
