    unanswered M15x questions

    Some quick questions I can't find the answers to in any of the new threads:

    1) Are there any Displayport -> HDMI converters out there that support audio? This one might be a dealbreaker for me :(
    2) Does anyone know how the Stealth Mode is supposed to work? From what I read in the other threads, there is NO integrated graphics card? What effect would this have on the battery life?
    3) Thanks to everybody, I'm usually just a silent reader here :)

    1) the issue is whether sound is coming from the displayport to began with, not whether or not an adapter will send sound along as well
    2) the card is most likely heavily downclocked to lower power draw - the i7 parts idle very low as well

    If the limitation isn't with the adapters, I think I might be OK with the lack of HDMI then. I'm just hoping that with stealth mode activated and a 9-cell battery I'll be able to push out 3-4 hours of unplugged goodness :)

    word on the street however is that the displayport does NOT pass sound through it (on ntoebooks so far), I have no way to verify but this is what I have heard

    Im gonna just order and hope it does, my problem if it doesn't will be watching movies on my t.v. since I just got rid of my crappy old 5.1 setup to free up some valuable space.
