    Hello All,

I was wondering does anyone know if you can buy a GTX260m video card by itself and add sli later. I ordered mine without and probably won't need it but was curious...Also, if you know of it is there a price on the card seperately? Any info really appreciated!

P.S. Good luck to all the new alienware owners! Hope we all get them soon!

    Thanks in advance!

we assume it will be possible to upgrade later on, yes. you can either get the second GPU from AW - this will not void your warranty, but cost more - or get the second GPU from a 3rd party, such as Eurocom. however, this might void your warranty, and/or you might have issues with compatibility.

    EDIT: 513$ for the GTX 260M. :)

wow, $513....It is sooo much cheaper up front huh...I didn't want to change my order and lose my place in the que. I must be in the first batch, I ordered first thing in the morning tuesday. I am now reading people are seeing ship dates of 07/07. Well, I guess if I find the need I am going to have to shell out 500 bucks. Thanks for the quick response!!!
