hi all on side topics i posted about my m17 going back to ireland becuase my 4850 graphics died, they have had my laptop since the 15 jan 10 and numerous phonecalls have got me nowhere untill today i received a email.
My name is Matej Marcok and we have been communicating last Friday and Thursday about your system in depot. I have sent you an email that the system should be delivered to you this week. The information that I have sent you is incorrect. Please accept my apologies for this misinformation. I have received an update from depot (service center) that we are waiting for the replacement graphics cards for your system, and that's why we still have it. The depot was set on top priority and escalated through my technical supervisor. I am checking the case everyday and in communications with the service center. I will contact you again either later today or tomorrow with an update about your system.
If you would like to get contacted via phone, please provide actual phone number as the one that is in your account was not working when I tried to contact you yesterday. ( they have got my number like the email they lost as well)

if they cannot replace these cards would i be elegible to get the next gen m17x as under warranty as are you are meant to have the same or better equipment, what i mean is they cannot just throw cple of 3870s in their instead can they.
has any of you had experience like this or may have any info on what might happen to my m17 if they cannot source these cards.

i wouldnt put it past em becuase their probably sourcing them from the states, i can see it now yours turn up on the desk..bloke walks past oh! thats bit of luck theirs two here. ill just send them to uk.... lol
