i was wondering if the xbox 360 pc controller feels exactly the same as using it on the xbox 360?.. I dont think using a mouse would be all that great seeing im used to the xbox 360 controller

There's nothing like a keyboard and mouse for shooting games.

It really depends on the game your using it with. I find that XBOX 360 controllers work best with microsoft games on pc (halo 1 and 2, gears of war, etc). But that's just my 2 cents.

I use the Xbox 360 controller with my M15x, I much prefer it to use a mouse and keyboard, but mouse and keyboard are also more precise.

Otherwise keyboard and mouse for FPS (shooters).

ever since i started playing PC games, i got used to the keyboard. Old SF2 for PC, MK1 2 3 and 4.. NBA live,, i used the keyboard all the way..

    I use:

Mouse and keyboard for FPS and RTS.
Occasional 360 controller for Racing and Arcade games.
Keyboard or 360 controller for VS games.

Im posting here in the Alienware thread because I will be a soon to be proud owner of the M11X!! woot.

    generation "carpel tunnel"

If you don't always sit properly in front of your system use a xbox controller.

Still waiting for the price quote. Planning to take advantage of the company discount of where i work. They said it was ok.

    Specs:
    Cosmic Black
    c2d SU7300
    4 GB
    Win7 Ultimate
    320Gb HD

Im not planning to wait for the refresh since it will take me forever to decide what to get. Plus, it will be more expensive than the money that I've saved up. Also, the new processors might have some performance changes, but i dont think its going to be that drastic(sorry this is suppose to be in a different thread.)

Thanks StevenX for the welcome. :D

Arklight - Looks great. Now to save up for a SSD... :) Also some handy tidbits in case your interested.. M11x works great for blu-ray. I purchased an Asus slim external blu-ray player from a retail store. Mazdaspeed got it first and was nice enough to post a review. Looks fantastic on the little screens. PLaying games on lcds or larger monitors is fine too. I play cod mw2 on my sony bravia lcd (46inch).

I hope it goes well. Congrats...

    StevenX

ps. If you can't tell.. i love the m11x. I could have afforded much more notebook, but this does everything I need..

Yes it does. If they are games that officially support the xbox 360 controller, it works flawlessly.
