    I have the M17 with q9100, Dual 3870, 4G RAM

in 1900*1200, I can only open the v-sync , no AA, and everything set to medium or low...

    what is yours?

in my P8600 2.4ghz, single 3870, 2gb ram. win xp, I play in 1900*1200 AA8x all very high with no lag at all.... it takes a bit to load the games but once loaded I've no problem. Amazing graphics, very nice game.

    with this settings

it's a bit slow but still very playable. if I drop some settings from ultra to very high it's really smooth. it really takes quite a bit to load the games.

in fact as an update i ranked everything to ultra and 8xaa on it and still playable so sitting low and medium i would suggest something is seriously wrong

I have an m15x 8800m gtx with the 2.8GHz Core 2 Extreme and I'm running everything with the highest settings in Windows 7. However, I only set the AA to x2 and no Anisotropic to maintain smoothness. I have a 1440x900 monitor.

I just figured it out. It seems that to disable/switch off every 3D settings in CCC and set minimap to performance help a lot. Now I can play ETW with everything ultra and every effect on at bearable FPS. With everything set to high, the performance is smooth.
