ive had my m17x for a little over a week now. i love the thing. had no problems with it... other than vista being crap. kinda unavoidable though.

one thing im wanting to do is get a smart bay hard drive for it. i didnt purchase it with one as i didnt have the money. im now looking to buy one and im having no luck in finding a way to do so.

ive tried searching the interweb with no avail (but finding this site). ive called alienware and asked them about buying one separately. i was told that they only sell whole systems and not parts. then i heard about their gear store. went there, and they dont sell any on there.

can anyone point me in the right direction please? i would much appreciate it :)

you can get empty SB cages from AW. ask them via email or something, or contact CS via phone. get the HDD from a place like newegg (2.5", if you don't mind :D) and put it in. should be plug 'n play from there.
