i am currently on a quest to find the most suitable gaming laptop for me and I am swaying between MSI and Alienware. however all these technical jargon is driving me crazy so i hope you guys can help me. I have outlined some of my concerns :
    1.budget is £2000 or a little over
2.I only play mmorpg (zero as in no nterest in FPS shooters whatsoever) I play Dragon nest and will be playing Bless online, Black Desert online and similar games.of that graphical calibre in the future
    3. will be using it.to connect to a projector to watch movies
    4. as i am a total noob i want a low maintenance one that doesnt need tinkering about.

    thanks guys O(∩_∩ ;)O

The Alienware 14 can play those games. Do you want something larger? The Alienware 17 and Alienware 18 can also handle those games.

Here's a good review of the AW 14:

The 14 has the power to do what you need, but if you can handle a 17" laptop, the increase in screen size will make a big difference IMO. I used my 14 as a dedicated gaming rig for a couple weeks while on vacation, and some on screen elements were a bit smaller than I'd have liked when gaming at 1080P.

Bear in mind that the 14 is a dead end street. No GPU upgrades are possible because it is a BGA (soldered on motherboard) GPU, so it has no capacity to "grow with you" so to speak. For a 14" model it's also pretty bulky. It's not a bad machine, but it has limitations that the 17 and 18 do not.

If the ability to upgrade is not important, and also since those MMORPG games are not all that graphically demanding, you may want to check out the XPS 15 Touch. It has a GT 750M and a 3200x1800 QHD+ touch display, a gorgeous thin aluminum chassis and it fits your price range. I am not a fan of touch, but it's there if you like that sort of thing. This is a fantastic machine, built extremely well, and might be a good option if you're not out for show-stopping performance and overclocking... it seems you are not, since you are looking at the 14 as an option. (The GT 750M does overclock pretty well.)
