Oh wait. They know Ordering a 8800gtx will slow down the Building of the laptop and buying the cards from Alienware will be faster after you have the laptop. I will be ordering my 8800gtx next Month.

Oh I dont get the sound of cracking and such while opening the M17x. It feels solid.

Well one thing you will notice I did not buy super high end.

    My setup was
    Alienware m17x
    core 2 2.4ghz
    1gb ram
    dual geforce 8600
    120gb hard drives.

I just about to call Alienware to install the 4gb ram I had ready for my laptop.
The Grapics card is what was holding the Alienware M17X back.

Which is the basic setup I had for the Alienware M5550
    Core 2 2.33
    2gb ram
    Geforce 7600

For me it was a different story. After owning the m5550 for about a year, I pretty much knew what I needed to upgrade in the new m15x. Just take a look at my sig. And now I'm very HAPPY with my m15x. I kept the RAM at 3 since I was happy with it. And the huge resolution for the m5550 was just too much for my eyes. 100GB was not enough for my games. And 8800 since the go7600 was not enough for my gaming needs.
