chill bro, have you try using the drive sweeper ?
-
yes bud i have, but whats happening it keeps installing the windows drivers it has, and when i try to manually install the drivers it says it already has the best drivers installed.
santas comming soon -
Hey mate,
I will try to explain detailed how i do it, everytime, and it works.
1.) Uninstall all ATI / Catalyst in Control Panel Software
2.) Right click Computer on Desktop -> Properties -> Device Manager -> Display Adapters -> Right click the first and chose uninstall (also tick delete device driver) & do the same with the second one.
3.) Boot up in safe mode
4.) Use driversweeper to detect and clean all ATI drivers
5.) Boot up normal windows and let windows finish installing the cards on its own. Reboot if it asks you to.
6.) Download the latest 9.12 drivers from the ati website and mobility mod them
7.) Install the drivers as usual.
If you need any more help just ask! -
If that doesnt work.
Reinstall 9.7 (use modified) then try modified 9.12 again? -
ok will try that guys ....
ive just had to get the santa key and sprinkle fairy dust outside of the door
drink half a glass of milk
eat 7 strips of raw carrots
and 1 mince pie
ho ho ho -
hi all i tried what you all said with not too much luck so i manually forced the new driver out of ccc onto each card
1 im getting 9000 odd gpu score in vantage which is higher than my old score but im unable to install ccc so i can enable crossfire.. it bsod and restarts.
just letting you know -
Strange...i never had that problem following the guide i posted
-
this looks like win7 installing the driver when you clean and whipe win7 driver look in window7 update and hide the ati driver update so it won't be installed then install the 9.12 moded driver
-
cheers lads will try that also today
HAPPY CHRISTMAS ALL
